The Chicken Patio invites you, your family, and your friends to try it's famous wine-basted chicken dinner each and every time you come to visit beautiful Put-in-Bay. We are proud to have started this family tradition in 1952. It started out with a small charcoal grill, local wine basted sauce & chicken, served on the patio of the Park Hotel and has turned into a large, 21 foot charcoal grill, still the same local wine basted sauce & chicken, served on the same patio of the Park Hotel and adjacent to the world famous Round House.
We make the wined basted sauce daily from scratch, and have used the same recipe from it's beginning(thanks to Maryann!). We husk the corn daily, only the sweetest will do! Come for lunch, come for dinner and we are open late night on Friday and Saturdays till the last chicken of the day is sold!

In 2012, The Forge became the proud new owners of the old blacksmith shop on the island. Before they could start renovations, their first task was clearing out the gift shop that stood there for over 20 years. After an extensive remodel, the 120 year old structure was transformed into the building you’ll see today. Many of the original building materials and blacksmithing tools were incorporated into The Forge’s décor. A bit of each of the family & friends can be found in the menus, whether it’s a family recipe or a personal favorite.
Mossbacks Island Bar & Grill is a Put-in-Bay restaurant and an island hotspot for breakfast. Come by from 10 AM to 1 PM for classic breakfast fare like eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Even better, order the Commodore’s Favorite, a buttermilk biscuit topped with a cheesy hash brown casserole, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, and bacon. The daily grind back home is waiting, but right now you deserve to unwind.
In 2014, Andy Christensen and Ray Fogg opened Reel Bar on South Bass Island, better known as Put-in-Bay, Ohio. The bar, which is located in the historic building formerly known as Tony’s, was completely remodeled to offer a rustic setting honoring its island roots. As the name suggests, Reel Bar features décor focused on fishing, boating and Lake Erie island life. In a tongue-in-cheek play on their new name, it’s a “Reel New Bar in a Reel Old Place.”
When you step into Reel Bar, you notice great care has been taken to keep a comfortable “lived-in” feel, utilizing natural materials such as reclaimed barn wood, real stone, recycled antique lighting and lots of cool old décor.
Favorite cocktails can be enjoyed on each of our waterfront deck levels. From frozen Margaritas at Rita's Cantina to a cold Heineken at Clawdaddy's Bar, it's a pleasure to sit and enjoy the view of the Harbor and Downtown!

Our "number one" fresh fish item is the Original Perch Taco. We clean our local catch of Yellow Perch each day! They are lightly breaded, fried to perfection, wrapped in a soft tortilla with cabbage, tomato, green onion and cheese and finished off with our famous Pali Wali sauce. You'll be hooked!
